4 cups No Yolks® Broad Noodles
5 cups golden apple, peeled and sliced
1/2 cup sugar, divided
1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
1/8 tsp ground nutmeg
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 cup light margarine, melted (divided)

Cooking Directions:

1.  Prepare noodles according to package directions.

2.  Place apples in a large bowl. Combine sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt in a small bowl. Stir well to mix. Spoon 1/4 cup of the sugar mixture into the apples. Stir well. Set aside for 10 minutes.
3.  Combine cooked noodles and remaining 1/4 cup sugar mixture in a bowl. Add 2 tablespoons melted margarine and toss well to combine. 
3.  Spread 1 tablespoon melted margarine in a deep 9 to 10-inch round baking dish. Spoon half the noodles into dish. Press down with back of spoon.

4.  Reserve 1/2 cup sliced apples. Spoon the remaining apples over the noodle layer. Press down. Top with the remaining noodles. Again press down.

5.  Arrange the 1/2 cup reserved apple slices in a circle over the noodles. Brush top noodles with remaining 1 tablespoon melted margarine.

6.  Bake in preheated 350ºF oven for 50 to 55 minutes, or until the top noodles are golden brown. Remove from oven. Let sit for 5 minutes before spooning out to serve.
