Spicy Korean Noodle Bowls

Don’t let the ease of preparation fool you! This dish packs a punch with a crunch using gochujang chili paste and a crisp medley of carrots, bell pepper, and green onion.

Ingredients:

12 oz No Yolks® Extra Broad Noodles
3 Tbsps sesame oil
3 Tbsps soy sauce
2 Tbsps seasoned rice vinegar
1 Tbsp honey
1 Tbsp fresh ginger root, grated
2 tsps gochujang (Korean chili pepper paste)
garlic clove, minced
1 large carrot, grated
1 large red bell pepper, thinly sliced
1/2 cup sliced green onions
1/4 cup chopped peanuts

Directions:

1.  Prepare noodles according to package directions.

2.  In a large bowl, whisk together sesame oil, soy sauce, rice vinegar, honey, ginger, gochujang and garlic.

3.  Add cooked noodles, carrot, bell pepper and green onions. 

4.  Serve topped with peanuts.  This dish can be served warm, room temperature or chilled.
