Skillet Chicken and Peppers
Grab your favorite skillet and fill your kitchen with the smell of garlic, onion, chicken, and ginger for a meal that will quickly enter your regular rotation.
Ingredients
- 2 cups No Yolks® Fine Noodles
- 1 Tbsp canola oil
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 cup sliced mushrooms, undrained
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 green bell pepper, chopped
- 2 boneless skinless chicken breast, cut into thin strips
- 1/4 cup chicken broth
- 3 tsps ginger flavored soy sauce
- 2/3 tsp Asian hot chili oil
Directions
- Prepare noodles according to package directions.
- Heat oil in 12-inch nonstick skillet over medium heat. Add garlic, mushrooms, onion and green pepper. Cook for 7 to 10 minutes or until vegetables are tender, stirring frequently.
- Add chicken and cook for 2 minutes over medium-high heat, stirring frequently. Add chicken broth and scrape up browned bits in skillet. Add soy ginger sauce and chili oil. Reduce heat to low; simmer 1 minute.
- Add prepare noodles to skillet and heat through.
