Brown Butter Cinnamon Sugar Dessert Noodles

Burned out on cake and cookies? Too cold for ice cream and milkshakes? Shake things up with this noodle-based treat.


1 packageNo Yolks® Broad Noodles
1/2 cupcream cheese, room temperature
1/2 cuppowdered sugar
3 Tbspwhole milk
1 tsppure vanilla extract
1/4 cupunsalted butter
1/4 cuppacked light brown sugar
1/2lemon, juiced
1/2 tspground cinnamon
2 Tbspsliced almonds, for garnish


  1. Cook the No Yolks Noodles according to package instructions. Reserve 1/4 cup noodle cooking water; drain.
  2. In a medium bowl, mix the cream cheese and powdered sugar together until smooth. Add milk and vanilla and beat until combined. Set aside.
  3. In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter and cook, stirring frequently, until the butter is golden-brown and fragrant, about 3-4 minutes. Remove from heat. Stir in the reserved noodle cooking water, sugar, lemon juice and cinnamon until combined.
  4. Return to heat. Add the noodles and cook, stirring frequently until coated, about 1-2 minutes. Drizzle with the cream cheese mixture and top with the almonds. Serve.
