Turkey Stroganoff
A classic dish made easy - with ground turkey, sautéed onions, and just the right touch of garlic and light sour cream served over fluffy dumplings.
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground turkey
- 1 cup (about 8 oz.) sliced fresh mushrooms
- 1/2 cup thinly sliced onion
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 3 tbsps all purpose flour
- 12 oz evaporated milk
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
- 6 oz No Yolks® Dumplings
- 1/4 cup light sour cream
- 2 tbsps parsley, chopped
Directions
- Coat a large skillet with non-stick cooking spray. Add turkey, mushrooms and onions. Cook until turkey is done and onions are tender.
- In a small bowl combine broth and flour. Add flour mixture, evaporated milk, garlic powder, salt and black pepper to turkey mixture. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Reduce heat and simmer 5 minutes.
- Meanwhile cook noodles according to package directions. When pasta is ready, stir sour cream and parsley into turkey mixture. Serve over pasta.
