Noodles with Bacon, Mushrooms and Paprika

A hearty, full-flavored dinner made with buttery noodles, mushrooms, crisp bacon and paprika.


12 ozNo Yolks® Broad Noodles
2 Tbspsunsalted butter
2 Tbspsolive oil
1 mediumonion, sliced
2garlic cloves, chopped
1/2 lbbacon, diced
1 lbmushrooms, sliced
1 Tbsptomato paste
1 Tbsppaprika
1 Tbspsalt, to taste
1 Tbspfreshly ground black pepper
1 cupsour cream
1 Tbspchopped parsley (optional)


  1. Cook noodles according to package directions.
  2. Meanwhile, cook bacon in a non-stick skillet over medium heat for 3 to 4 minutes, or until slightly crisp. Drain off excess fat.
  3. Add olive oil, butter, onions, garlic, and mushrooms and saute until onions are translucent, about 3 to 4 minutes.
  4. Add tomato paste, paprika and salt. Let simmer for 2 to 3 minutes, or until fragrant. Remove from heat, stir in the sour cream, and season to taste with salt and pepper.
  5. Spoon mixture over warm noodles. Top with chopped parsley, if desired.
